We believe that the best indicator of acoustic performance are stiffness and tap-tone. All woods are air dried and quarter cut. The woods used are Spruce for tops, Mahogany or Spanish Cedar for necks, Rosewood for back and sides and Ebony or Rosewood fingerboards. They are thousands of species good for making musical instruments.
All Manea instruments are finished in Oil Varnish not only to show the beauty of the wood, but also to resist water, staining, discoloration, degradation and wear while preserving the natural tone of the instrument. This process allows for easier refinishing when necessary and has been a favorite for many years.
Manea musical instruments has accurate notes and are fully functional art that lasts for generations.
